It may not be federally legal, but nearly half of all adult Americans have consumed cannabis, according to newly-released statistics from Gallup’s annual Consumption Habits poll.
According to the Washington, D.C. based analytics and advisory company, a total of 49 per cent of U.S. adults said they had “tried” cannabis, marking the highest number of respondents measured by Gallup to date (both figuratively and, probably, literally).
